i'm doing badly in english class

English in secondary school was easy. Now, its tough. very tough. i'm struggling with my essay writing. i'm just hoping to get a C for my english. if i don't, i'm gonna smack myself hard! =(

ANYWAYS! after stressing over assignments for a few weeks, its time to update this dead blog!

they brought me to a shop called "Build a bear"
its pretty cool! Little Ashley would LOVE IT! u pick ur own bear, fill it up with cotton, go to the clothes section to pick an outfit for it then make a birth certificate for it! i MIGHT get a few for my little cousins =)


went for my floor formal and wore my winter jacket for the FIRST time! pretty anot? =p
my toes were frozen cuz i didn't have any nice flats so i had to wear heels out to the COLD!



decided to take a walk by the river with my friends one evening. a smart part of the river was frozen! should be quite pretty when the whole river become icy.

back to studying.. got a chem lab exam this coming tuesday. pray for me! ;)

Mooncake Festival

it was celebrated a few weeks ago, but o wells! im bored and i have nothing to post up, so ill just post up my first mooncake festival away from home!

so this year kaylee didnt get to play lanterns, burn ants and peanuts with my lil cousins. i also didnt get to sit at the garden with my family, enjoy hot chinese tea, mooncake and pomelo. =/

this year, i celebrated mooncake festival, WESTERN style! haha. with pizza AND mooncake!

it was the 1st time Julie tried mooncake and she said it tasted abit like peanut butter. haha.everyone say i look VERY young! haha.

my first snowfall!! =)

this week the weather has been CRAZILY cold!
and finally on thursday morning, Edmonton SNOWED!! =)
i had a 8am class that day. for the FIRST time, kaylee JUMPED out of bed!
the 1st thing she did?
look out the window and saw.....
SNOW!!
i was sooooooo HAPPY! =D
i just stared at it for awhile and realized how beautiful it was.
it was VERY cold that day, but since its my first day with snow i didnt mind.

stress week is over and thanksgiving weekend is here! time to eat, sleep and watch movie for 2 days before i start work again!

i miss home. =(

it's terrible to have fever + cough + flu during autumn. =(

here u are, suffering from the coldness of the weather, the wind blows and ur nose starts having this funny feeling, ur throat goes extra dry, u start coughing and it hurts cuz its so dry and ur fever starts kicking in. o my gosh. not a very nice feeling.

note to self: don't get sick during winter! but its quite impossible. apparently EVERYONE gets sick during winter. =s

had a great weekend with mummy in Vancouver before she left. another goodbye to go through but it was worth it! =') wish i could go back with her, but maybe God's putting me here to train me to be tougher! i WILL pass this TEST!

midterms and assignments are keeping me superbly busy! can't wait for Thanksgiving break!

my first outing!

sunday was a VERY COLD and WINDY weekend

because of the craving for chinese food, my roommate and i manage to pull ourselves out of bed and headed out to Whyte Avenue for brunch!

first time using my debit card! haha. was quite scared i'd press a wrong button and give too much tips! kiam siap but hello! im a student! =p

roommate had bubble tea but i decided to save the money to try out ice cream from a famous shop!

a loooooooong overdued post!

it's gonna be VERY long with LOADS of pictures!

so im in Canada already. the day that i have dread came and went.
pulled through all the goodbyes i dont wanna make and went through the worst night ever the night before i left.
so here i am, missing the comfort of home and all my friends back in KL and around the world.
(haha. im so awesome! ive got international friends! >p)
